One of the challenges of legal research in Cambodia is the lack of a publicly-accessible updated and accurate database of all laws and regulations in the Kingdom. Several efforts have been made toward creation of such a database, but one of the more promising efforts that we have come across recently is the Cambodia Law Box. It contains over 900 laws and regulations in Khmer and English with more being added regularly. Unfortunately, the database is only available via invitation at this stage as it is still being improved and tested prior to being made available to the general public. However, it's great to see an effort like this, especially one in which the content is so well-organized and easily searchable. Once this database is ready for public access, it will provide a much-needed resource for researchers and anyone else looking for a clearinghouse of Cambodian laws and regulations.
